About Me
Hello All!!!
My name is Sana and I will be your Vice President for the Fall Semester! I can imagine that everyone’s excited to get the year started with a bang! And, so are we! The roller coaster is just about to begin! But, before we get started, let me tell you a little bit about myself!
I made the journey from Canada to the U.S. to embark upon the beginning of my University
Career a few years ago. Since then, it’s been a crazy ride filled with intoxicating ambition, passion and an unrelenting drive to make every no a yes and every dream a reality. As a result, I decided to double major in both Finance and Marketing! I’ve had the honor of working closely within BWS to gain first hand experience as to what I’d like to do in my future! I could not have asked for a more diverse and genuine group to be a part of. It’s truly life changing!
When I’m not crunching numbers or budgeting for BWS, you can always find me with my nose in a book engulfed in a captivating story or writing the next chapter to my very own book! Though, my true passion lies in creative writing. I believe that knowledge is power and after joining the school paper my freshman year, I was able to put forth great efforts to learn more about an art form I appreciate so much! Reading is another one of my obsessions. That priceless feeling you get when you’re lost in a story that captivates your mind is incomparable. I absolutely love it! Lastly, business, on its own, intrigues me greatly. It’s so important for us to be in sync with
today’s ever-changing world. Therefore, I’ve invested my time to complete to attain the Corporate Entrepreneurship Certificate. I am also a recent graduate of the Bauer Leadership Council, an exclusive leadership development initiative offered to Bauer Student Leaders. The lessons I’ve learned over the past few years are certainly set in stone for the future ahead.
To gain inspiration for my next piece or put the pedal to the metal to ace that exam, you can easily find me in Bauer Quiet Hall in between classes and meetings. I love the peace, quiet and instant serenity that place has to offer. It’s ideal!
After graduation, I’d like to put forth my efforts in the Personal Financial Planning industry in the hopes of working for a financial management company such as Merril Lynch! This industry in particular has truly stolen my heart and soul. Once I’ve completed a few years with the company, I’d like to switch gears to then return to school to complete my MBA. I’ve been keeping a close eye on the East Coast, as it’s close to my dream home A.K.A. Wall Street.
Now that you’ve taken the first step to consider becoming a member of BWS, I encourage you to take a look around and see where you are. Understand that you are one in a million and that your dreams and aspirations are unlike any other. In order to make that happen, you have to become resilient and passionate and challenged. This organization is the one place where you can experience all of that at the same time. BWS is your key to success, but its up to you to take that jump. How far are you willing to go to be successful?
Dare To Be Great, Ladies. This is your time to shine!
Responsibilities Overview
The Vice President will be responsible for the duties of the President in the event that the President is unavailable. The Vice President will also manage the semester budget and allocate funds to each department as needed.
